SWITCH PROFILE BOOKMARKLET
v2.05
USING THIS SCRIPT WITH ZYNGA'S "PATCH" THAT DISABLED UNFRAMING
Zynga has disabled unframing and there is no simple workaround I can add to the bookmarklets.
But if you use the fantastic tools
dakam's MW Add-on or the
Spockholm toolbar then MWH Analyzer will work for you!
Here is a post by a great lady,
MWLootLady,
that explains how to add MWH Analyzer to the Spockholm toolbar but it will work on the MWH Switch Profile also (you can use it without this to switch from FB to MW):
Add MWHelper and Exp/Ene 3.0 to the Spockholm Toolbar.
Adding the bookmarklets to
MW Add-on should be a click away. I will enable this tommorow.
Due to popular demand I have made a Switch Profile bookmarklet that should work with probably all browsers.
This bookmarklet enables to go to a users Mafia Wars or Facebook profile.
USING THE BOOKMARKLET
1. FROM FACEBOOK TO MAFIA WARS PROFILE
Simply use the bookmarklet on any page with user pictures. Two links will appear beside every picture.
The MW link takes you to the users Mafia Wars Profile.
2. FROM MAFIA WARS TO FACEBOOK PROFILE
Use it in a few steps: step one will remove frames. Then go to any Mafia Wars page with pictures
(home, after attack, wars, operations, etc.)
and use the bookmarklet again. Two links will appear beside every picture.
The FB link takes you to the users Facebook Profile and the MW link
takes you to the users Mafia Wars Profile.
INSTALLING THE BOOKMARKLET

- Make sure that the Bookmarks Bar is visible. If it is not choose Always show bookmarks bar from the Tools menu

In
Internet Explorer 8 you will probably get the message
Internet Explorer had modified this page to help prevent cross-site scripting. Click here
for more information.... You can resolve this by disabling the
XSS filter but enable this later if you surf to new/unknown sites.
The
XSS filter is disabled by doing the following: click
Tools -
Internet Options, then select the
Security tab,
click
Custom level... and scroll nearly to the bottom where you have an option
Enable XSS filter that is normally set to
Enable.
Select
Disable confirm the change by clicking
Yes, then click
OK and
OK again. You should now have no problems using the bookmarklet.
As mentioned before, for your safety, enable this before surfing to unknown sites!
